Inner Seasons Menopause Circle
Journeying, Community & Connection
Our culture doesn’t much support the menopause transformation, preferring for a quiet co-operation in a yang based society. This midlife transition as well as our monthly cycles and pregnancy (also known as the three golden opportunities) are a gateway for change and healing.
For centuries the menstrual cycle has been seen as a problem to overcome, and we’ve been taught to ignore or override our changing state. It’s no wonder that so many people feel disoriented throughout menopause. Understanding our inner seasons is the key that transforms the menopausal experience into a natural, wholesome and empowering time of life.
Embodied energy medicine
The circle is a process that allows you to safely look beneath the surface at the patterns and the stories that direct you and currently affecting your day to day. Journeying through your inner seasons is a tool to access your way forward and help you to find new soul medicine that can be grounded in everyday life.

Where can I access my strength, when I am so tired
Should I take hot?
What do I need to take care of here?
What To Expect
Have a journal and pen to hand
Find a quiet and comfortable space, you can sit comfortably in a chair or lie down with bolsters, blankets, eye pillow if you wish
Turn off your phone ringer
Prepare a snack and water for after.
The Circle
We start with just a little movement to drop into the body and settle in before arriving at your comfortable spot with your eyes closed.
Using your imagination I will invite you to observe your life seasons of before you.
Holding your intention, we will step into the centre of the circle, the Earth element.
Landing here safely, you will observe your landscape. From this centre, you will step into each season starting with spring of your first period through to winter of your menopause and beyond.
We will come back to the centre of the circle back to the earth element and take a look back at what’s changed.
Finally we step out of the circle and come back to the here and now, grounding your experience with journalling and sharing if that suits.
If you drift off or fall asleep this is also fine, you will receive exactly what you need, when you need it. You may come and go as you like.
There is no wrong or right way to journey through the circle, you may use just your imagination as you visualise your inner seasons or perhaps you will feel your way through with emotions and bodily sensations or the other senses may come into play too.
If you are feeling too overwhelmed or struggling with emotional health challenges, then prioritise some professional support before attending the circle and come back when you are feeling more steady and ready to explore the inner seasons in community.
