Yes the physical symptoms of the menopause might be well and truly present right now, perhaps you have tried or still using herbal supplements, acupuncture or medication such as anti depressants or hormones and still you are feeling out of your depth. Feeling lost, anxious, low in mood, discouraged, misunderstood and undervalued at home, work and in life in general, oh…. and maybe very very angry.
Difficulty With Aging
Aging can feel as though it accelerates during this transition of menopause with changes to our weight, hair and skin. Perhaps we try to cover, hide, work harder at changing our physical appearance. No wonder why there is a deep desire to cling to our youth, as a woman we are often valued and relevant for their youthful looks and their fertility. Somehow we are shocked by this physical change and we often don’t speak of the bare truth of the fear, shame, resistance and the feeling that we are utterly out of control of our aging bodies.
Emotional Support For You
As much as we might wish to stay in the glow of the summer light is absolutely unrealistic and it’s utterly delusional to wish that the summer stays and never leaves. We have the chance to pause and observe the transition of entering into Autumn and really be in the beauty of what is changing and what is being born from that change. We can learn these lessons from Mother Earth to accept and live in the seasons of our life.
I have a background of coaching within five element acupuncture, embodied practices and face reading wisdom and am here as a guide to help you grieve, accept and surrender into the process of change whilst providing insights to reconnect you to the wisdom of your body and embrace the season you are in.
