A Bit About Me

I am in my late 40’s and well on my way with my menopause journey. Unbeknownst to me it started a few years ago with constant palpitations, low mood, fatigue and sense of feeling that I couldn’t be bothered. I double checked with my GP, who told me all was normal after a full round of blood tests and a ECG.

It wasn’t till early last year when brain fog swamped me with muddled thinking and a head that felt soupy, it dawned on me that this might be perimenopause.

After some research, I realised the earlier symptoms I had been suffering the year before was the beginning of my menopause journey. I was shocked, that I didn’t know, especially as someone who works in healthcare and has maybe missed this with other clients. Why had I not been taught more about this at college, or of any of the courses I have attended over the years? I made it a my mission to read, learn and find as much information as possible, so I could be support myself and in extension help women like me who suffer during this fragile and rich life transition.

My focus with menopause is with the background of acupuncture and five element knowledge, mind-body experience, face reading, and yin principles to provide a unique insight into ways to support menopausal and emotional health.
